Our History
DreamPort Harvest Market is housed in Port Washington, Wisconsin’s historic J. Thill Building. Built in 1854 in the Italiante Style, it was home to Eichstedt Jewelry before becoming Graff Jewelry Store. Prior to DreamPort Harvest Market’s debut, the building was renovated back to its earlier style and served as a tearoom and restaurant.

Our Owners
Ed and Peggy Callahan’s journey to opening DreamPort Harvest Market began back in 2012 when they purchased a distressed property within sight of Lake Michigan. Over the next two years, they attended the UW Wisconsin Extension School for beginning commercial apple growers and lovingly cleaned and converted the property into the orchard of their dreams – Dream Apple Farm.
Dream Apple Farm is the primary anchor farm and initial inspiration behind DreamPort Harvest Market. The Market now serves as a venue for Ed and Peggy to bring Dream Apple Farm’s USDA and Real Organic Project Certified amazingly tasty apples, jams and more to the community.
Prior to putting their roots down in the farming world, Ed and Peggy served the community as a family physician and emergency physician respectively. They raised three boys and currently house a fur baby. Maisy, a chocolate lab, can be found happily roaming the farm regardless of the weather.
